Paris, seated on the left, hands the golden apple to Venus who stands in the centre, accompanied by Juno and Cupid; further to the right, Minerva dresses herself, and her shield, spear and helmet lie in the foreground. Mercury is on the left of Paris and a winged Victory holds a wreath over Venus' head. In the background there is a mountainous island with buildings and bridges. The edge is yellow.
