The maker could be George Prior of Prescot Street, London, who was working 1765-1810. The case is of a Continental design, and has been made specially for this movement. It may be as early as 1800. The movement is small for the case with a plain silver disc to close the case opening and support the movement, and a decorated band of silver fitted under the dial. All this suggests that the case was made to fit an existing movement.referenceterm-106498adlib-term-106498272179a1-524b-3f36-aab7-bf342ce484d619th Century, Early#referenceterm-106216adlib-term-106216825b8379-ec94-388e-9a59-624e40c090d0literalEnglandEnglandcountryLondonreferencemedia-146514adlib-media-14651416932a03-2663-3ea8-9a70-7693174ad873jpegaa/aa20/MP_1_20_26_20A_20_26_20B_1929_20_281_29.jpg1heightpixels760widthpixels59416711272591191imagejpegaa/aa20/mid_MP_1_20_26_20A_20_26_20B_1929_20_281_29.jpg1heightpixels640widthpixels50016711272591191imagejpegaa/aa20/MP_1_20_26_20A_20_26_20B_1929_20_281_29.jpg1heightpixels760widthpixels59416711272591191imagejpegaa/aa20/preview_MP_1_20_26_20A_20_26_20B_1929_20_281_29.jpg1heightpixels320widthpixels25016711272591191image0media
