Painted in blue, green, yellow, and brownish-orange. Shape 53. Circular with a broad, almost flat rim and shallow well, slightly convex in the middle. In the well are five hounds attacking a bear, surrounded by a garland of leaves and berries. At the top of the rim is a medallion containing a palm, crossed by a wavy scroll inscribed `C/HI./LA.PVo/VE/R' (He who wants to have it/her ?), and, at the bottom, a similar medallion inscribed `P/AC/IEN/TI/A' (Pazienza: patience or pleasure). On the left and right of the rim are medallions containing respectively a bust of a young man in profile to right, and a bust of a Roman Emperor in profile to left. Between each medallion is an acanthus plant flanked by dragons addorsed and pennants on staves.
