Pale buff earthenware, tin-glazed on the front and, on the back, covered with semi-translucent pinkish-white glaze. Painted in blue, green, and dark yellow. The dish has a sloping rim, short vertical side, and a deep curved well standing on a footring. The central medallion contains the initials 'IHS' surrounded by groups of three dots and enclosed by a wide blue band between two narrow. The sides are decorated with yellow rays with blue lines in the spaces, and blue, green, yellow, and blue concentric bands.
