The don wears a collar and tie, waistcoat, jacket, striped trousers, an academic gown, and shoes, and carries a mortar board under his left arm. His wife wears a blue hat with a green and white floral spray on it, a dress covered by a blue and green patterned coat, high-heeled shoes, and a bangle on her right wrist. Her right hand is raised to hold her hat onto her head. The group is supported on a rectagular wooden base.
