      <value>'And you can pook/and you can shove/but a Sussex pig/he wun't be druv.'/Old Sussex Poem', and on the right 'The Sussex Pig  with its motto/wun't be druv' was originally used/at weddings in the country,/to drink the health of the bride and bridegroom with/customary Sussex wit./The head was removable and stood/on its snout as a mug./From this the guests could drink/the traditional 'Hogshead of beer,/without overmuch indulgence./The body served as a jug/and could sit on its haunches./Examples of early Sussex Pigs are/in collections throughout England,/and the British Museum possesses/one from the 18th century.'</value>
