The globular pot stands on a footring, and has a short cylindrical neck, a slightly curved, upward-tilting spout, and a D-shaped handle. There are five holes behind the spout to emit the tea. The domed cover has a ventilation hole and a cone-shaped knob.  On both sides of the pot there is a shaped oval panel with a gold edge. One is decorated with the Oriental Staghunt pattern, and the other with two Chinamen conversing in a garden with a building, and birds flying overhead.  Round the shoulder there is a border of gold lappets. The cover is decorated with a landscape within a scalloped outline, and round the edge has gold lapets.
