The putti are naked but each has a long drape passing over one shoulder. One putto sits on the right with his left leg raised in the air and his right leg bent with the foot on the ground. His arms are raised towards the other putto and he looks towards the viewer. The other putto strides over the other's raised leg with his left leg, and bends back slightly as he grasps the struggling dolphin in his arms.
