Invoices for 'Cornu Copias' , both for block moulds, and finished items, have associated their manufacture with William Greatbatch of Fenton, and Thomas & John Wedgwood, of Burslem, but there are cornucopia flower holders of several different designs so it is not possible to attribute this example conclusively. It seems likely that they were made by several other north Staffordshire potters between about 1760 and 1770.
