Counter enamel inscribed '64'.\n\nHANDS: Blued steel 'Breguet' type.\n\nBELL: Curved shaped with raised central pad.\n\nINNER CASE: Gold bright cut and pierced band with plain back. Plain pendant with stripe bow. Inside gilt, stamped '15736' and makers stamp 'I.E' inside lozenge with arrow heads pointing outwards from ends. Stamped with small horse's head, looking to right. Scratched inside under pendant '8.07.8'. Plain bezel and slide dumb piece.\n\nOUTER CASE (A): Gold, bezel and body edge with four coloured foliage pattern, and pierced. Back with four colour gold and silver decoration of a vase and foliage. Inside body stamped '15736', makers mark 'I.E' in lozenge. Fake set of London Hall Marks (upper case 'U' no tail). Both halves of the pendant stamped with maker's mark, square stamp with 'ET' in top half, with triangle or division mark below.\n\nPROTECTIVE CASE (B): Tortoiseshell on gilt brass. Chased edges, bezel and body covered with tortoiseshell having band of pins. Sets of four gilt pins with enamel and gilt pins between. Balance cock with table pierced and engraved with two birds, urn on pillar on neck. Cock foot engraved. Blued steel end piece, diamond end stone. Underside of foot stamped 'I' and scratched 'X503' and '13583'. Polished steel balance. Slide plate engraved, silver regulation disc marked 10, 20 and 30 in Arabic figures. Barrel bridge with engraved chamfered edge. Turned fusee iron post, polished steel winged case bolt, in slot in plate, nib in brass edge. Potance with moulding at end of foot, screwed, counter-potance riveted to plate. Stop lever pin to contact contrate wheel. Pillar plate with four turned pillars ringed at ends. Centre wheel recessed. Third wheel bar. Stop lever, slit in pillar plate for pin to stop contrate wheel. Fusee and chain, set-up click under dial. Verge escapement. Train planted clockwise.\nA balance stop is fitted, operated by a nib on the edge of the movement. Moving this brings a frictional brake into contact with the contrate wheel, and so stops the hands. As the verge escapement is self starting, the watch is ready to go again as soon as the brake is taken off\n\nBRASS EDGE: Plain gilt brass, three feet, recess for stop lever.\n\nDIAL: White enamel on copper, three feet. Ladder minute ring, diamond marks at quarters, radial Roman chapters. Seconds dial at 6 o'clock, with ladder seconds ring, long 5 second lines, radial Arabic figures every 10 sec.\n\nHANDS: Gold, poker and spade.\n\nCASE: Silver, plain, double-backed. Cover and dome London HM 1848. Maker's mark of a round cameo 'RO' over 'JE'. Balance cock, segment table with cut away centre, one arm engraved with a snail, the other a hare. Regulation sector scale engraved on neck with ends marked 'S' and 'F'. Blued steel end piece with diamond end stone, regulator fitted to central boss and overlapped by two end piece screws. Foot engraved, curved from neck and straight sides, pointed end, hand set and winding holes through foot. Polished steel balance. Top plate has an engraved border and rings under balance. Turned fusee iron post. Potance screwed, and rectangular-counter potance riveted to plate, two tapped rectangular blocks to secure brass edge. Pillar plate with four turned pillars, ringed at ends. Centre wheel recessed, third wheel bar. Pillar plate tapered towards edge (to take curve of dial). Fusee and chain with set-up click under dial, one lip on barrel. Verge escapement. Train planted clockwise.\nGreat efforts have obviously  been made, in planning the movement, to get it as flat as possible.\n\nDIAL: White enamel convex on copper, two feet. Diamond shaped quarter marks, ladder minute ring, radial Roman chapters.\n\nBRASS EDGE: With cuvette, with movement fitting into centre, from the dial side, and fixed to movement by two horizontal screws. Dial feet fit through flat casing diameter, whole then fits into case from back and secured by four turn screws. Casing diameter flat and top flat engraved. Hinged cuvette, back engraved 'M Hunot' above 'LONDON' all surrounded by engraved decoration. Two hands engraved from hand set hole and horse in harness pulling from winding hole, also 'No 471' engraved.\n\nHANDS: Missing, and no provision has been made for a seconds hand.\n\nCASE: Gilt metal, plain with only the back opening, movement in brass edge fitting it from back.
