Stereoscopic photographs

Scope note

Use for pairs of photographs taken with two lenses such that, when viewed with special devices, the two images appear to form a single, three-dimensional image. May be daguerreotypes, negatives, or other forms. For those in the form of photographic prints on cards, the most common type, use "stereographs."
