Double fan adhesive binding

Scope note

Use for the adhesive binding method in which loose leaves are fanned in one direction then passed over a glue roller, so that the adhesive penetrates between the leaves; the leaves are then fanned in the other direction and passed over the glue roller again, so that both sides of the binding edge of each leaf are coated and adhere to the adjoining leaves.
