Staffs (staff weapon components)

Scope note

Use for the long, straight, poles of metal or wood, usually circular in section, that constitute the main bodies of staff weapons, serving as handles and to carry the heads. For the smaller objects of similar form constituting the main bodies of arrows, use "shafts (tool components)."
