Osiride pillars

Scope note

Use for piers with an engaged figure of Osiris on the front, attached in such a manner that the pier, not the statue, supports the entablature; used in ancient Egyptian and Egyptian revival architecture. For statues that themselves directly support a superstructure, use descriptors collocated under <anthropomorphic supporting elements>.
