Use for large, luxurious, and well-equipped hotels, generally with large well-trained staff, imposing lobby, distinguished architecture and setting, and designed to present travelers with a unique experience imitating the ambiance of life in European palaces; generally restricted to buildings erected from the mid-19th to early 20th century.
