Scope note

Buildings or portions of buildings for the housing and feeding of horses, cattle, and other such domestic animals, and often also for storing riding equipment and vehicles, and which occasionally have living quarters for associated personnel. For barnlike structures used primarily for housing farmstock and feed, use, for example, "horse barns" or "cattle barns."
