Spiral candlesticks

Scope note

Candlesticks consisting of a helix which is wound from a wrought iron strip or rod forming the stem of the candlestick mounted on a wooden base. A sufficient space is left between each turn of the spiral to allow a cup or disc containing the candle socket with a side projection to be raised or lowered by rotation within the spiral.
