Keys (adjusting equipment)

Scope note

Hand tools for opening and closing that do not have a jaw and do not fit into screws. For adjusting tools with a tip that fits into the recess of a screw, use "screwdrivers." For hand tools for opening and closing by means of a jaw, use "wrenches." For the removable actuating devices of locks, use "keys (hardware)."
