Tea strainers

Scope note

Strainers through which tea, or sometimes coffee, is poured in order to catch the loose leaves or grounds. For culinary tools which enclose tea leaves, or sometimes coffee grounds, within a cup or pot of water while the beverage brews, use "tea infusers."
