Corsescas

Scope note

Staff weapons having a three-pronged head with a central triangular double-edged blade, often with a strong medial ridge, with two shorter blades radiating from its base or curving up like the prongs of a trident. They were used from the 15th to the 17th century, mainly in France and Italy.
