Loutrophoroi

Scope note

Tall and slender vessels with an elongated neck and a flaring mouth, usually in the form of an amphora with two handles, but sometimes in the form of a hydria with three handles; often given as gifts at weddings. Common in Black-figure pottery of the late 6th century BCE.
