Mustard pots

Scope note

Small vessels for serving prepared mustard that are made in various forms and usually of glass, ceramic, or metal (if of metal, often made with a glass liner). They usually have a cover or lid, which often has an indentation for the stem of a mustard spoon. Sometimes made in sets of three for three varieties of mustard. For small vessels used to dispense dry mustard, use "mustard casters."
