Teapots with stands

Scope note

Teapots that rest on a stand usually having a warming device such as a spirit lamp. Sometimes the stand is merely to support the teapot without a heating device; such a teapot may have a rounded bottom, as it rests on the stand rather than on a flat surface. ILDCS
