Sweetmeat stands

Scope note

Large composite pieces used as a table centerpiece consisting of a tall glass stand, the top of which is a small container, having, at intervals down the stem, several curved arms from which hang small basketlike dishes for sweetmeats. For composite pieces consisting of an arrangement of sweetmeat glasses or jelly glasses on a glass salver, use "pyramids (containers)."
