Chinese long zithers having a rectangular soundboard with a convex surface and, usually, 25 strings, traditionally of silk, each of which is supported by a movable triangular bridge which functions as a fine tuning device, each positioned relative to adjoining bridges in a diagonal row across the soundboard.
