Bugeyes

Scope note

Use for double-ended, log-bottom boats or later flat-bottom, shallow-draft boats of similar shape, but built plank-on-frame, with two masts raking aft carrying a jib and triangular sails; used for offshore fishing and general cargo transport in the Chesapeake Bay area.
