Adirondack guideboats

Scope note

Use for light, bevel-lapped double-ended guideboats from New York State's Adirondack region, ranging from 13 to 18 feet long, fitted with a carrying yoke, having a flat bottom board, and planked over natural crook frames in the style of dories; planking is usually smooth or carvel.
