Use for 20th-century sculptural works that create surroundings that the viewer can enter; most often indoor installations. For outdoor works that especially exploit or incorporate aspects of their sites and that may surround the viewer, use "environmental art." For sculptural works that are composed of figures and objects arranged into a picturelike scene that the viewer does not enter, use "tableaux (sculpture)."
