Vase/meiping. Tz'u chou ware. Unknown production, China. Grey stoneware vase, with a slender ovoid body, covered with a greenish brown glaze. The vase has a short neck with sloping ridge, and is incised with an overlapping palmate leaf design. Stoneware, glazed, incised, height 40.3 cm, diameter 19.1 cm. Song Dynasty (960-1279).
