Etching, drypoint, wiped, surface tone, black carbon ink, on laid paper, height, plate, 251 mm, width, plate, 204 mm; height, sheet, 253 mm, width, sheet, 208 mm, 1639. Production Note: II/II. The face and hands were wiped clean before printing to suggest that this is an impression from the first state. Offset from same plate on verso. Notes(s): The sitter was Receiver-General, and assisted Rembrandt in gaining payment for paintings he executed for Frederick Henry.
