It has a central circular himotoshi and five random holes; the sides are carved with ruyi heads and decorative patterns. The shibuichi disc cast in relief with additional chasing and decorated with two peony heads and leaves. The upper head, leaves and a bud are in shakudo, the lower peony head in sentoku (brown) reserved on a background of misty appearance, rogin. Stag's horn (antler) bowl with metal (shakudo, sentoku) disc and eyelet. cast in relief, with additional chasing, height, whole, 1.9 cm, width, whole, 4.5 cm, circa 1800-1868. Edo Period (1615-1868).
