Sculpture/Panel. Christ Pantocrator represented half-length and full-face. Christ holds a book in his left hand and blesses with his right. Behind is seen the three upper limbs of the cross, the surfaces chequered in the same way as the book in Christ's hand. It is from the modern cover of a 10th century lectionary written at Reichenau. Height 138.0 mm, width 97.0 mm, circa 900 to 1000. Production Place: Byzantium.
