English Delftware. Storage jar/dispensing pot. Unidentified London pottery, probably. The exterior is decorated with groups of horizontal stripes, three below the rim and four above the base. Buff earthenware, thrown, tin-glazed except for part of the base, and painted in blue, height, whole, 9.8 cm, diameter, whole, 11 cm, circa 1780-circa 1820. As the jar was excavated in London it seems likely to have been made there.
