"The text of this book was handset in 'Spectrum' type ... The drawings ... were reproduced by offset lithography at Skelton's Press, Wellingborough. This edition of 240 copies comprises: forty signed copies printed on 'Chatham' handmade paper, of which 10 sets of sheets numbered [1]-[10] have been reserved for special binding; thirty copies, numbers I-XXX, bound in full leather with endpapers of 'De Wint' mould-made, and slip case; two hundred copies on cartridge paper, of which numbers 1-50 have been bound in quarter-leather with 'De Wint' paper sides and numbers 51-200 in 'De Wint' paper covers. All the edition bindings were executed by George Percival of Leicester."--Colophon. Museum has no. 185 signed by the author & printer.
