Description

Linen and striped silk kerchief embroidered with polychrome silk and silver metal thread.

Embroidered in double running, double darning, open hem and satin stitch. At each end there is a 8" border composed of three horizontal bands: the first is a pyramid and crossed maces design, the second is a zigzag stem with leaves and flowers and the third has rose sprays with smaller sprays in interspaces. The fringe is twisted and has red tassels at each end.
