Description

Loosely woven linen bedspread with polychrome embroidered silk, in darning, buttonhole, open hem, satin and stem stitch and needle weaving.

Three widths of linen joined by an insertion of red ribbon joined to the linen with an insertion stitch. The middle width has a large spray of flowers at each edge. The motif of the rest of the field is arranged to form a rectangular pattern with a central medallion containing a small vase with a large symetrical spray of flowers.
