Four widths of a linen bed cover, embroidered with polychrome silks in darning, chain and running stitch.
The main border comprises vases of carnations alternating with large, stylized tulips and hyacinths flanking a branch. There is a smaller, outer band of a scrolling stem with a carnation, hyacinth and rose. Detached parrots and dogs form a loose, inner border. The corner motifs are flower filled ewers and parrots.
