Description

Linen headscarf embroidered with polychrome (blue, brown, green, pink, purple, red and yellow) silks in Algerian eye, double running, satin and tent stitch.

The centre of the scarf has been sewn together to form a hood upon which is embroidered a large foliated madallion with on either side a conventional flower spray, followed by a band of white geometrical satin stitch, and at the edge a border of flowers and leaves.
