Linen sampler embroidered with coloured silk threads worked in tent, cross, rice, double running, faggot, rococo and Hungarian stitch. There is a single blue selvedge at the top and bottom and the sides are hemmed. About thirty detached geometric and floral motifs and all-over patterns, including one of a squirrel and strawberries.
