Band sampler, linen, embroidered with polychrome silks and wools in cross, double back, eyelet hole and double running stitches. The sampler comprises eight horizontal bands; the top seven are filled with repeat border patterns, band five containing a frog and a dog. Band eight has the name and date 'ANN EdWARds 1706' worked in cross-stitch.
