Linen sampler embroidered in polychrome silks, silver and gilt metal thread in back, tent, chain, cross, stem, eyelet, faggot, rococo, Rumanian and plaited braid stitch and interlacing stitches with bullion knots. All the edges are hemmed. The spot sampler consists of detached geometric and floral motifs, (oak and rose) and some all-over patterns.
