Cotton sampler embroidered with polychrome silks in cross, satin, chain and stem stitch with a little couching. The edges are bound with green watered silk ribbon. A repeating strawberry border encloses a picture of a house and garden with underneath it and inscription which reads ' Eliza Hall Chip: Norton'.
