Sampler cotton, every tenth warp thread is yellow, embroidered with polychrome silks and wools with some clear glass beads in cross, Florentine, tent, satin and plush stitch. There is a selvedge at the top and bottom and the sides are turned under and stitched. The sampler features detached geometric motifs, stylized floral all-over patterns and one armorial design.
