Production: Unidentified
Band sampler cotton, embroidered with red and white cotton threads in satin, back, stem and whipped running stitch with French knots and cut work. The edges are scalloped and buttonhole stitched. The sampler comprises of rows of partial alphabets, numerals, a coronet and a crown and a monogram 'AD' or 'DA'. A stylized flower spray is worked in the lower left corner and interlacing scrolls in the lower right corner with the monogram 'HS' or 'SH'.
