Description

Whitework linen sampler including bands and the format for the opening of a shirt front, embroidered with linen threads in hem and whipped stem stitch with French knots, buttonhole bars and pulled thread work. Three edges are hemmed, and there is needle lace edging along the bottom edge and a selvedge at the top.
