Description

Cotton whitework sampler embroidered with white cotton in chain stitch with panels of pulled work. All the edges are hemmed. The pattern consists of a variety of pulled work panels arranged in horizontal rows of five. The bottom horizontal band contains the makers initials 'F.J.R.Z' and the date 1853 .
