Description

Sampler, linen, embroidered with polychrome cotton and linen thread in squared drawn work, chain, buttonhole, stem, satin, long and short running, cross, Roman, loop and filling stitches with French knots and laid and couched work. The sampler comprises of various motifs representing the history of the United Kingdom and an extract from the Welsh National Anthem.
