Black plastic over cardboard covers. Each sheet perforated approx. 12 mm in from spine edge to allow removal. There are 81 sheets including front and rear end sheets (both drawn). A sheet has been removed from between ff. 10 and 11.

Landscape studies: views from a mountainous area with large rocky outcrops, also focus on low sun. Studies generally across two sheets, with two blank sides left between each. Last sketch is on inside of back cover.
