Description

The double paper leaf is printed, hand coloured with bodycolour and sewn with gilt sequins. With three medallions containing figures, and eleven smaller ones, with German text. Plain ivory sticks and guards

History note: Colonel Leonard C. Messel (1872-1953); his daughter Anne, Countess of Rosse (1902-1992)
