Hundred Faces Fan

Folding fan, with double paper leaf, with silk tassels incorporating silver, gold and purple silk about 100 faces on ivory on each side. Woven silk roses applied onto a double paper ground leaf. A normal pattern is used for the painted border. In the scene there are several different types of fans in use. Seated lady rider on a white horse. Very finely carved sticks and guards. Box (A)
